The fee you pay is a service fee charged by Get DMV Appointments for automated appointment search and booking assistance. This fee is paid entirely to Get DMV Appointments, a private business. No portion of this fee is paid to any government agency.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) does not charge any fee for scheduling appointments. You always have the option to book an appointment directly through the official DPS website at public.txdpsscheduler.com at no cost whatsoever.
Our service fee covers the cost of operating and maintaining our automated monitoring systems, which continuously check the DPS scheduling system on your behalf and attempt to book an appointment the moment a matching slot becomes available.
We help users find better appointments using legally permitted methods and systems. We access only publicly available scheduling information. We do not hold, reserve, block, or manipulate appointment slots. We do not interfere with or degrade the DPS scheduling system in any way. Appointment availability is governed solely by the Texas DPS.
